Once again everyone that attended this year's NYS Woodsmen's Field Days at Boonville had a great time! The Wagner team hosted two cook outs for all of our suppliers, friends and family. We enjoyed good food and good company both days. Especially the incredible spiedies and homemade salads generously shared by the Steele's. Thank you Claude & Andrea!
On Saturday we had two brand new trucks participate in the annual truck contest and the parade. Our trucks scored top prizes in several categories. Saturday morning all of the Wagner employees in attendance set out on a mission to raise money for the Log A Load for Kids program that is part of the Children's Miracle Network. We broke up into teams and roamed the entire fair grounds soliciting donations and giving away Wagner Whiz Rings and Yardsticks to everyone in return for their generosity. At the end of the day we'd raised about $1600, which the owners of the Wagner Companies graciously matched so that ultimately we donated $3200 to the cause. Thank you Les and Stash, and thank you to everyone who participated!
Our very own Head Forester, Matt Karp, and his wife Mary Ann competed in a couple of events this year. Mary Ann took a top spot in the Fire Building Event and Matt took First Place in the Axe Throw Event. Congrats to Matt and Mary Ann!

We had a terrific time at the New York State Woodsmen's Field Day's this year. It's always great to see so many of our friends, co-workers, loggers, drivers, & owner/operators having fun, competing, and just enjoyng each other's company.
We can't wait to do it again next year!
